"Caffeine Blues"
by Stephen Cherniske, M.S.
Wake up to the hidden dangers of America's#1 Drug
Months ago, my Standard Process Rep and Mentor, Lynn Mayer, suggested I read this book. I finally ordered it and now have been slowly digesting it.
It's not a pretty picture for those who love coffee.
My Grandmother drank coffee all day long, it was a Danish kind of tradition I think. And then she would take pills to help her sleep.
But let me share some small snipets from the book which I have so far found and already feeling pushback from some that I have shared this with.
Here right from the book:
Caffeine can't provide energy, only chemical stimulation, an induced emergency state that can lead to irritability, mood swings, and panic attacks.
Caffeine's ultimate mood effect can be a letdown, which can lead to depression and chronic fatigue.
Caffeine gives the illusion of heightened alertness by dilating pupils, quickening heart rate, and raising blood pressure. In fact, caffeine does not increase overall mental activity.
...caffeine reduction is a critical step in the treatment of anxiety, headache, sleep disturbance, and abdominal symptoms
....caffeine connection to urinary and prostate problems
....all drugs have effects and side effects
....Caffeine is clearly addictive, .... contributes to palpitations, panic attack, hypoglycemia, gastritis, fatigue, insomnia, and PMS
....caffeine's role in cardiovascular disease, anxiety, depression, gastrointestinal disorders, and women's health
...caffeine saps your natural sense of vitality
... contributes to high blood pressure, adrenal exhaustion, changes brain chemistry, certain types of cancer, increases ulcer risk, hormone imbalance, a long list of health disorders in women
.....nervous system dysfunction in children
hyperactivity, learning and behavior disorders, headache, allergy, PMS, birth defects and more.
...Body pain
...Caffeine is a drug with cumulative effects over time.
I am on page 72 of 450 pages.
I love learning and helping teach others what I learn.
You may not like this book, however it could help you live longer, happier and healthier.
I want what is best for you.
