SPINAL SUBLUXATION

What are Subluxations?

Subluxations happen in the spine when a vertebrae gets misaligned. It causes the nerves to become pinched, creating a blockage between the brain and the body. Subluxations can occur through the general wear and tear of life, as well as from injuries. They cause health issues that can stay with the person for the rest of their lives if not located and corrected/reduced. It is important to get subluxations treated as soon as possible.

Can a subluxation be present if you don't have neck or back pain? Yes.

Signs of Subluxations

There are a few simple tests you can preform at home:

Shoes: Look at a pair of hard-soled shoes you wear and check the heels to see if one is more worn than the other. If so, this could indicate an imbalance of the spine.

Shoulder, hip and head tilt: In front of a mirror, stand barefoot with your feet shoulder-width apart. Place your hands on your hips and see if they are level. Look at the shoulders and see if they are level and look at the head to see if it tilts to the left or right.

Lateral flexion: Stand in front of the mirror and tilt your head to the right and then to the left. Take note of any tightness or inability to move within normal range of motion and which direction of tilting the head caused less range of motion.
