Some more great scholarship applicants comments:
1. Women's health is something I really want to specialize in as a chiropractor because I don't think enough women have the support system they need through pregnancy, post-pregnancy and just throughout life in general.
2. My dad suffered several conditions one of them being diabetes went from barely being able to stand up for more than 10 minutes to walking a mile every day and my mom who suffered from extreme leg and ankle inflammation went to having no inflammation at all. This is just one of the ways chiropractic has amazed me. I have seen hopeless patients that were told they were never going to do the activities they enjoy most of their lives turned
around by seeing a chiropractor. Most importantly I have seen newborns with issues that no specialist ever wanted to deal with be handled by a chiropractor and change the child's life to the better.
3. I found chiropractic care a few years ago as a last resort choice for a shoulder injury that my orthopedic surgeon said I would need a total reconstruction on.
Through a few visits and some at home strengthening exercises I was able to regain the joint stability and no longer needed any type of surgery.
4. My journey to chiropractic began back in 2012. I was working in corporate finance and was complaining to my sister about how my left arm felt tingly and how I was worried that I was having a heart attack. She told me that all I needed to do was go to the chiropractor, so I did. The chiropractor literally changed my life by allowing me to breathe deeper and feel better.
